If you or danny bought a TV from Currys, then found it were damaged. You would NOT be allowed to keep the TV but accept a partial refund. It's not how it works, you have the same rights in a private sale as you do in retail. It's a full refund or you accept your purchase.

(Not trying to take anything away from the fact that Andy should have been honest in the description though.)

Also, if you decided you were to have a go at fixing your TV yourself before you took it back i think you'd find your warranty is void.

If you're not happy, your full refund is available but you have to send them back.

i have asked for a full reffund weeks ago but he just doesnt get back to me, i want my money back and then i will send him his lights back that i havnt tampered with or tried to fix in anyway. just want my money reffunded and i will send the lights back!! lets see if he replys to this 1! and i can gurantee he will come up with some excuse as to why he wont reffuned me my money!

Just read through this thread and a few points jump out as alarming!

First, why has Andy stated that he would give the tracking number to sri-baby for the item when later in his posts he states he never even sent the item due to it being broken. Why say that you had sent it?
Secondly, isnt it just slightly conveniant that andy and jay-corsa-gsi live so close? That jay is a 'user under investigation-do no trade?'
That jay states that he will be up for 'that grill?
Is this the same 'broken' grill?
Andy's name has appeared in quite a few past disputes by a number of members on here as well.
Something definately fishy about the whole thing.

Then Andy states
'ive only just got hold of that grill because i started to build a new corsa but i decided to split it and sold everything on here and all items sent this week so weres there disputes must just be you.....'

If you look at the date that the dispute was raised and the date that andy posted the above response, there's a big gap between when he states he's supposedly posted things and when the disputes have been raised.

Personally think he's one to avoid
