I don't like the way flash makes a picture look, it does have it's place if you know what you are doing though.

I did mean the built in flash, I always find it ruined my pictures but as you say, off camera flashes can be used very effectively and can look amazing

Was the first one taken from a funny angle?
Can see the left hand side banking up.

What are you going to do with these photos Steve?

Just had my very first go at HDR, constructive criticism and advice is welcome.
To me this one turned out pretty bad, noisy and out of focus in places. How will i combat this?
Also i used PS and used the Merge to HDR Pro thing, is that a good way of creating good HDR images or is there a better way?

Photshop is ok, but it takes more time to produce a decent image, i use a combination of photomatix and photoshop.
your pic is actually quite cool, id tone down the edge glow though in photoshop

Iv just been reading about photomatix, do you merge the images with that or do you have to use photoshop first to do that? If you get what i mean. Ill try and find a download later and have a play.
Cheers, the glow around the edge from the sky do you mean? i didnt notice at first but i left the lights on on the car and they have lit the fence up red but looks pretty cool.
