I had pagid discs but m1144 pads on mine.

They were awesome when there was some material on the pads.

And that was just usual GSi sized stuff.

Get a project thread up when you start building.. I was going to buy a cheap small block for trackdays.

Are you going to use it on the road or not bother with MOT etc. and just trailer it?

Yeah I'm sticking with the standard stuff with braided lines, new discs and DS2500 with DOT5.1 I think with the weight removed it's more than up to the job.

You proved it works, so did Willay/Jr in the Nurburgendy so should be ok.

Once all the parts are here I'll start one.

Tonys going to get my seats for me as well, really can't wait to get started. Steves coming down in the new year and we are going to set about it with hacksaws.

Going to MOT it, its got a years ticket on it until Nov next year so a full season of track days on the same ticket, TBF it will be in better condition than it was when it went through the MOT last month once I've finished.

Is there really a difference between genuine vaux and the likes of delphi which you get from dingbro?

As of Monday I'm finished

Prob £1500, stage 3 isn't much difference from stage 2. Astra was finished the minute I found a braking solution.

Was you not going for some bilsteins on the astra or is that on the back burner? Is the corsa D the commuter and corsa sport for track and astra for other days?

Bilsteins I'm told aren't valved for the VXR so you won't see a difference as the standard shocks on the VXR's are actually really really good. Corsa D is what Rachel uses everyday, Astra sits on the drive I use Corsa B to go to work while it's too cold to ride my bike.

Car was £750, I've spent £953 so far plus another £380 for the seats.

Only thing I really want to add beyond what I've already got is a unichip and Janspeed manifold, maybe a lightweight bonnet as mines got some rust on the lip.
