these planes get quite dirty when used, as ste mentioned proper black around the jet funnels, i will probably add even more when its glued together somewhat

Planes looking awesome. I just haven't got the patience to do this sort of thing, I'd rather paint by numbers.

Found it through experimentation on the eurofighter i didnt paint.

mixed a very dilute mixture of matt black enamel with thinners, very watery. Then dabbed a cotton pad into it and rubbed it all over the surface allow a couple of second to penetrate panel gaps etc, then rub it off with paper towel rubbing harder on areas you dont want so weather and lightly on areas you want heavier
