Is the original iPad likely to come down in price a bit more yet, can you still even get them?

Also anyone know the price in America, got a mate going in a week or so, so he could maybe pick me one up if they are cheaper.

1st gen probably won't come down any further than it is just now.

They are cheaper in america, would be worth it if you want one.

Cant decide between iPad 1 or 2?

Only need the 16gb Wifi, so its £289 for a refurb iPad 1 from Apple or £399 for an iPad 2 (oh and a 4 week wait), so a £110 difference.

If you're trying to save money on one, why not get an Android powered tab. More bang for your buck there...

Scrub that idea then, thought the Galaxy Tab came in at about £350. You'd be disappointed if you bought the iPad 1 though, maybe not right now - but one day soon.

I had a play with a Galaxy tab and it was quite frankly shit.

The new Tegra2 dual core stuff should be far superior.

I think you're right, Ill get bored of them both but when I get bored of the iPad 1 I know ill be wishing I got the newer model.

Managed to reserve a Black 16gb Wifi for collection from Trafford Centre tomorrow...only problem is, I wanted white but its all that was left.

Hoping somebody there might have reserved a white and wanted black.

Reserved a black one but wanted white, rang this morning to ask if I could swop, they said no, asked the guy at the door in the Apple shop, they said no. He passed me over to some other guy to go and get my black one, he went away and then come back and asked what model i'd reserved again, I sneakily said white and two mins later he came out with a shiny white one.

Result.

Some unlucky kid whose reserved a white one will be left with a black one at the end of the day.

Its an awesome bit of kit, cant put it down. The mrs Dad spent most of the night last night on the auto trader website on it looking for his new car, I couldn't get it back

The last few nights ive been lying in bed till about 3am browsing the internet, FB and playing angry birds, still got 35% battery after 3 days of constant use and COD vids on youtube.
