Gutted for Rory. Not because of the money but because i'm a fan. He'll win a major soon. Only having 2 professional wins doesn't help but he did lead this tourney until he hit self destruct on the 10th. A bad swing on 10 did cost him but he needs to go away and work on his putting more than anything. You don't win majors with the way he putted.

Didn't expect Schwartzel to take the green jacket but it was a great last day with so many in-contention to win it! The Masters

Yup Rory really needs work on his putting. Through the first 3 rounds he missed so many chances for birdie that he could have easily been out in the lead by 6/7/8.

There was an element of bad luck to kick it all off. To ricochet that far off to the side was very unlucky.

He was always going to struggle off that tee shot, but he shouldn't of gone with driver. Also, don't know what he was thinking with the high/flop shot on to the green. But I guess that's down to being 21yrs old

Was a right shame for Rory, nightmare seeing him throw it away like that. You could predict he wouldn't keep his cool though. At the end of the day, he is only 21, he's got a massive career ahead of him, no doubt he would have won a few majors in the next 5 years for sure!

Schwartzel fully deserved the green jacket for the last days perfomance, you really can't take away how well he played. Some of the golf he played was outstanding.

Was well impressed with Woods' front 9 too, if he was as consistant in the back 9 he would have had another green jacket. He's clearly not ready to give up golf yet, he wants another major so bad.

Love The Masters

Can't wait for the open, everybody is going to be so hungry for it!

I think his failure to win it can be put down to 1 single thing - mental strength.

His putting was solid enough to have him lead by 4 going into the final round, lead the tournament for 60+ holes and even still be leading going onto the back 9 of the last.

His bottle crashed when he realised the enormity of what he was about to achieve.

Aye, I agree. Doesn't help with the crowd either, every shot they were behind him 100% (rightly so) pressure was enormous on him, even though he'll say it wasn't in interviews.
At the end of the day, he was about to win The Masters at 21, that isn't heard of. He's an awesome golfer, just needs to sort the balance of handling the pressure of the game out, once he's done that. He'll be chasing Tiger's records for years to come.

It will put him in good stead for when he is in the same position, which is only a matter of time.

His iron play was phenomenal all week which is what really got him the 4 shot lead. Very very few of his birdies were from outside 10 feet.
