Not at all, by all accounts once you figure it out its rather easy just fiddly. I have simply not had the time with Xmas and it being dark all the time. I have a rather more pressing matter of replacing the tensioners and idlers first as the noise is doing my nut in. But after that its full steam ahead.

Small update,
Was fed up of the car steaming up so easily, had read up on the pollen filter being the likely cause so decided as it was old it probably had been neglected and never changed. So i decided to bite the bullet. Popped next door to the motorfactors i work next to and got a new filter.
This is the New filter and what it should look like:
removed the old one, all this crap fell out:
Hoovered, so went to fit the new one, saw that there was a leaf in the box still so got a toothbrush and started to scrape it out, was left with this:
so I advise cleaning it out before fitting the new one!
Heres the old filter, nasty!
Im moving house at the moment so progress shall be slow but im going to have a better area to work on the car so expect many updates soon!

Plodding along,
Had half hour spare so thought I would tackle the issue of my glovebox not opening at all.
Here is the issue: (Apologies for terrible pics, light fading and i was in a rush!)
Close up of the latch that was stuck:
So whipped it all out:
Still stuck:
Prev. owner removed half of the glovebox presumably for an ice install?
Replacement one here, turns out all i needed was the spring and to reposition everything. I need to do it again however as it wont lock even though you can here the little latch motor when turning the key.
Ta daa!
Need to get it out again, replace the glovebox light at it broke and sort the central locking part out. Happy i can now access my ipod and update my choons again tho!
Next up is arm rest, the other seat, chrome handles and fixing my door cars

Replaced the Coolant sensor, car now drives a lot more smoothly and drinks a teenie bit less fuel.
(Pictured is a sensor from GSF< which I fitted and proceeded to tell me the car was going to overheat in 30seconds.) BUY OEM!
So everyone said to remove all the inlet etc, i thought i could just remove the first trumpet:
Bingo bango.
Upon replacing my GSF one which was knackered, I decided that with a 22mm deep socket and an extension on my wrench i didn't have to remove a damn thing and it took <30 seconds to swap out.
Just place socket on first, then add bar and wrench.
See here:
Tons of room!
Update next week will be next seat in, armrest, chrome handles and tensioner!
Watch this space.
Oh and how cool do they look with no plate on?!
(apologies for the state of dirt and shoddy photo. Fucking cold out)

It's my budget project and in 6months I've spent a grand! Seems like nothing though.
I will be keeping it as I know it's good. Just needs tlc. I wanted to get a steering wheel trim and gaitor too but time and money won't allow so that will be after this.
Also making progress with the push button start, seems viable. Just need to get another peice of grim but they seem impossible to come across because it's an Smg
