True Story...
I was working abroad somewhere and was on the phone to Fee. She was mentioning how crap the Navara was in the snow
You have it in 4wd right?
Duh.....
She was driving it round arse out in RWD They are pretty tail happy in the wet never mind snow - no weight on the rear!
Beast in 4wd though.
I managed to get the RRS stuck last year - saw some huge snow drifts and decided to give it a bash! Made it about 500m before it got too deep and grounded the car. Raising and lowering the susp to compact it only got me another 5m or so Had to reverse

check the snow on the bonnet

yeeehaaa
We're looking to change 4x4 shortly if anyone is interested in a Range Rover Sport HSE? Its just had more nobbly pirellis fitted to slightly smaller rims - good for winter OE 19's included.

I took my S3 round some pretty remote roads near my brothers when we had a good covering two years ago. It was fresh snow which helps but even so I only had to stop when the snow was level with the bonnet and it couldn't push it out of the way, this was with regular tyres on too. Surprised me greatly, didn't expect it to be up to much, even with 4wd.

My old Series 3 Defender rep:
(snapped it a few months back off roading so bought a 90)

This one is my gf's Grandads. Has a 6.5 V8 GMC Diesel in, sounds like a lorry The wire weighed it down a bit at the back!

do people just find a hole, drive into it, take a photo, then get pulled out
or just get as muddy as possible so you have to wash it, like you own some sort of transformer cloaking device
