Updated mine a couple of hours ago, nothing amazing just small stuff as per norm with apple

Had no issues other than my music artwork being all wrong.

Well I got IOS5 installed eventually after about 15 attempts. Restarted everything, plugged it back in to see if I could get my apps & music to load on. It's now uninstalled IOS5 & I'm back with an iphone that requires fully setting up

To take the piss even more my computer rarely recognises that the phone is connected & when it does, it gets so far & then crashed

That's great apple, completely awesome. You win. I'll buy a fucking iphone 4S.

I got the birds to work first time tonight, restored all apps etc, my other one took a million attempts though.

Hit and miss, certainly doesn't 'just work'.

For all you anal fuckers out there (like me) that like to have everything on one screen, and a folder for all the useless crap you don't want (including the shitty newstand they've just introduced)...

After downloading the direct download i changed the file extension to the ipsw and now when i click on restore or update i get 'ios 5 firmware file is not compatible'

I might try again tonight. Presumably I'm going to have to be on iTunes 10.5 when I get a 4S anyway so I'm going to have to get it sorted regardless.

Was more to do with all pics etc being share with all my devices. Don't want my mrs snooping around on my computer and seeing everything I have on my phone. Same if/when I get an iPad.

Yeah i just deleted the large apps to sort it out, but the crash log will show you which apps are causing it.
