kompany's challenge was only deemed dangerous as rooney seen it from 40 yards away and ran to tell the ref, who didn't see it as dangerous from 5 yards, or nani who was involved in the tackle and didn't even look for a free kick.

Glad i missed most of this thread as it has another stupid video replay debate. If you think it would work you are wrong. Sorry but you are. It would cause a million times more problems than it would solve.

Anyone that's ever played football at any decent level will know it's actually hard to go for a 2 footed tackle. You only ever feel the urge when you have a bit of anger about you.
Blatant red. Again.

Exactly, there is no circumstance when you HAVE to go in with both feet, there is no advantage over using one. It's purely malicious.

Only 2 footed tackle I remember doing was after stumbling past 3 or 4 players on one of my only ever runs, over running it and diving in.
Didn't even realise I did it at the time, but the ref had a quiet word with me about it. Was when I was 14/15

even one footed it would still be the same. its the angle the players are going at for the ball thats the problem. one footed would still have studs up wouldn't it? its impossible unless you are tackling to the side. if the ball is in front, you will always go in like that one footed or both feet.
