As I found out recently, Reyland 4 pots were re-branded AP calipers of an MG Rover.
Worth looking out for these instead?

this is an absolutely lush example of a Gsi. if it was mine i wouldn't put a red top in i would have just bought a 1.4 sport or something and put the red top in that and leave the Gsi as it is, as i believe in leaving Gsi's as they are. but that's just me. anyway the car is stunning and really clean, one of the nicest ones on this site that Ive seen so far imo

Tidy up engine and bay and get it looking sweet then might look into different wheels and bigger brakes
Will possibly keep standard wheels and try to get some 256mm 4pots to fit under them

Lack of pictures from today but thanks to c16xejay and mate ryan for the help today.
Exhaust on, engine in, turbo etc on and engine all wired up. Just needs loom putting onto engine(plug the sensors in) and then the boost pipe fitting then all good to go
Also figured out why the brake pedal was abit shite... There rear brake cylinder had shit itself and the piston was sat in the rear drum sorted that aswell today just need bleeding in the morning
Will get pics tomorrow once more is done. Very very happy with the progress though and hopefully have it all finished tomorrow

Got it running today!! Put a live feed to the fuel pump and it fired into life!! Was idling at about 2kish so need to look into that. Would a faulty TPS cause that??
