Wonder what his current value would be, if he was in contract.

big loss IMO.
If you look back over the years the team has always done well when hes on form, they won the league when he was firing on all cylinders,
they won the CL due to him. Without him they would not have won IMO.
I know I always dreaded the Chelsea-Arsenal match if he was playing due to his immense power

Looks like the first in is Romain Amalfitano from promoted Ligue 2 side Reims on a free. I've never seen anything of him but we've got to trust G Carr, he's done well in France

Latest Hazard news: Agent claims he's agreed terms with 3 clubs and now is up to him to choose, which he will do after Belgium's 2 friendlies
Utter utter cock, everything about him screams mercernary IMO - City bound for sure

Almunia, Heskey, Cuellar, Owen and Hargreaves (lol) amongst those to have been released by their clubs. Will be some solid free transfers available for the lower clubs this season IMO

Hazard seems to think he is the best thing to ever happen to football. I hope he flops massively and gets flogged on

To move to City at the moment you have to be really confident in your talent as your going to have to be VERY good to get yourself into the starting lineup.
Obviously the £100k a week probably a a bit of comfort for sitting on the bench but if your young with an possible international career ahead the bench is somewhere you really don't want to be

agreed, but his attitude would suit them down to the ground... he has fantastic abilities, we have/had been interested in him for 3/4 years so Arsenal fans know him pretty well but hios attitude the last few years sinc ehe became more well known has been absolute jokes... to the point where i cant see SAF wanting him anywhere near them. Still think Chelsea might prove the best fit tbh, but as said, he's interested in £££ from everythign he says which just screams Citeh. And for what its worht, he'd start there week in week out for sure. head and shoudlers above anyone else they have available in midfield/wing etc. bar Yaya Toure

Isn't he related to Vermaelen somewhere down the line?

I'd be really surprised if he came to us, he doesn't sound like the sort of player SAF would buy going off his attitude but could be wrong.
Forget the wages for a minute which he would obviously get more of at City - our midfield isn't as good as it could be. He would play more games for us than City. Have to see how much he values that!

Shocking number of Bolton players gone. 3 were only loans anyway but there's still 9 gone. Cant believe they let klasnic go but gave Davies another year. Really gonna struggle in the championship.
Are you surprised? I thought it was common knowledge that Bolton were selling half of their team. Bolton are going to really struggle next season, wouldnt be surprised if them and Blackburn are fighting for relegation again
A shame though as i like Bolton.
i was on about the players being out of contract and not giving them another. it wasn't common knowledge as at the point i wrote that they hadn't sold anybody.

I was meaning the same thing. I dont read much about Bolton tbh but a few days before i made that post i heard it on the radio was hoping they wouldnt all leave and you would have a good chance going back up but that's obviously not the case

Chelsea set to release Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18185485
Very surprised. Good players and they are going to have to spend some $$ to replace them.
