I wasnt far out then - I said 18 month ban, 100hrs unpaid work and I clearly overestimated his income at £450 fines.
Still, he can enjoy 100hrs of litter picking, fence painting and gardening. Sad thing is he will get a nice pair of safety boots and hi viz vest provided by Probation to do it in.

My prediction is that he'll make some bullshit story up and not come on here for a while acting like he was put away... in reality his sentence will be a lifetime of being a daft cunt and hopefully slap.

Thing is, it all depends on what story the defence sell about statement of earnings and money. I have seen compensation awarded at £0.50 per week ( for punching me in the face).

Aggravated twoc is not quite as you would expect. It occurs when during the time that the suspect has the vehicle, they damage it, damage something else, injure someone or drive it dangerously.

You were unlucky to get caught and lucky to have been treated leniently.
Learn your lesson and move on, as much of a cunt as you are the majority of this thread will have driven under the influence. Even the patronising pigs.

£250 fine is fucking laughable compared to the cost of driving legally and I have to drink lemonade.
And what's this bollocks about the fine getting cheaper because you're earning less? No one moved my car down a tax band or an insurance group because I took a pay cut.
And I'd pick litter for fun, walking around outdoors, no stress of a proper job, just put litter in a bag. I reckon that would be quite satisfying knowing you've cleaned up a street after some other scummy cunts who can't work a bin. Why the fuck your punishment is to feel happy about having done bit for the community I'm not clear.
Fucking criminal twats, I might ask if I can do some fun things in exchange for losing my ability to act like a fucking adult.

Nothing wrong with litter picking for a job, i used to do it. Would rather do that anyday of the week than work at mcdonalds for the reasons you said ian.
They should be given worse jobs for community service. Like picking up dog shit.

this infuriates me. i dont know how many know it but im currently on a 36 month ban for dd, and my fine was £400 not including costs (i lost my job and livelyhood as a result). my breath reading was 36 at roadside and 41 in the station, id had 3 pints over quite a few hours. you were actually pissed and stole a fucking car, proof the system is flawed.
