Interesting view - out of interest what did you think was worse about shelbys tackle vs evans? Both were studs up, both had both feet off the ground?

Should both be sent off purely for being terrible footballers stealing a career in the Premier League.

Evans looks far less in control there, two footed and studs up where as Shelvey is only going in with one foot

Would ypu not say Evans feet are heading to the ground before the ball? Shelvey's foot is heading over the ball and connected with Evan's shin.

Easy to say all this with hindsight. At the time in the heat of the moment Shelveys did look worse. You can see why the ref has given a red

Doesn't make it right tho.
Lets be honest. 10-15 years ago the Shelvey/Evans challenge would have been seen as a good, fair 50/50. but in the modern game its not.
Shame really.
I was always told you must going into a 50/50 fully commited because if you fanny out you are more likley to get injured. Times have changed!!

tbh i really can't, They both lunged in for a loose ball, The ref should have taken everything into account, given a yellow each and let the game continue to flow, He ruined it with that red. So many shit referees in the premier league, Its a joke.

Halsey is one of the best in the league, he had no choice.but to send Shelvey off, I do agree Evans should of got some punishment as well, the United players probably helped in the decision, they got to him within seconds, he obviously didn't want to send the guy off, he'd let off a few tackles before that that should of been bookings. Would like to know who he was talking to as they seem to have made his mind up on it, and I don't see how it would of been a linesman

If it was a red card then Evans should have gone too. Both reckless.
