Yeah. I knew it wouldn't be a goal due to it being an indirect free kick but wasn't sure how it would be restarted.

@Orbinho
Arsenal's recent Premier League record with Mike Dean P17 W1 D7 L9. He also officiated Bradford & Birmingham League Cup games

This will be the 7th time that Mike Dean has done an Arsenal game in the last 12 months. The next most is Foy with 4. Once every FIVE games!

Jesus, you're starting to sound like Liverpool fans with their conspiracy theories about Man United and refs.

If he flies in like that it looks bad even if he wins the ball, always going to be a red from the ref in that case I think.

Yes as you are clueless and attempting to pretend you're a football fan when in fact you prefer 15 year olds, sticking tat on a Ford Puma and flying remote controlled aircraft.

Trolling aside, Both decisons were probs spot on.

Its a sad fact that Kompany's challenge in todays game is a red. He had both feet off the ground at the start of the challenge which is the decisive factor.

Will be interesting to see if anyone else gets a straight red/penno against for pulling down etc in the box, as it happens week in, week out at corners/free kicks, just not as obv as Kos's.

You've changed your tune

Neither was a red card and if Kompany's was, in particular, we might as well wrap players in bubble wrap and ban tackling.

Kompanys challenge was made to look worse because Wilshere left foot slipped from underneath him just before the tackle and went crashing into Kompany.

Forgetting that we have the benefit of replays, in real time it looked bad. So that's why he was sent off.
