I'd love to see him stay here tbh, want the best players in this league and he is one of the best, be a shame if he and Bale leave, both of which seem quite likely this summer.

At the end of the day, irrespective of all the nonsense etc. that has gone on; he's still far superior to your football club, you all preach about how van Persie, fabregas etc. were right to leave and this is significantly worse as we at least have CL to offer as well as history.
Also, if you coudl sell him to Real and take Callejon in part-ex then that would be great as would leave us open to signing Higuain

Cesc and D.Villa rumours ramping up significantly today.
WOuld <3 Cesc to come back. Was pissed off with the manner he left in and the kissing of the badge on day 1 but fact remains; he is a world class player who will improve us so welcome it. Woudl mean a slight change in Midfield and we wouldn't get a holding player anymore but I'd be comfortable with Wilsh/Arteta and Walcott/Cesc/Cazorla as our midfield with whoever playing upfront
D.Villa would be awesome so long as its no more than £10m. Ideal world, ship out Gervinho on loan or for £5m and then we have Giroud, Ox, Poldi and D.Villa as alternative forward 6 options

If he'd have given us one more season to give Brendan a chance to properly put his stamp on the team and we still don't get CL then fair enough, He deserves CL football.
