There's lessons to be learnt from this thread.
You can post a flash car that belongs to yourself or a random, but not a family member.
Most plates are shit, except mine.
Evo's are pretty much the be all and end all, specifically Jay's.
M3's are slower.
Banks own everyone's cars.
Lee's dad would lose in a fight.
...and finally, my lights and wheels are shit.

Theres only a select few i'd want, and they're between 8k - 18k. It just isn't going to happen
AJW 39 is 13~k been available for years, only relevence to me is initials and my old man has MFW 32. 1632 AW is the only cheap one i'd get, and thats about 2500.
Plates are well expensive.

Would people buy a sunstrip front and rear with a personnal message to other drivers on it?
Thought no, and its only because people know a sunstrip costs £20 so isn't cool. whereas a personal plate lets people know you have spent at least £250 on your car.
Its the equivalent of sticking the logo sticker on your car that came with some suspension or tuning part, it doesn't look better but people feel the need to let other people know they have it.

no matter what people say or their opinion of said plate, they can* be an investment.
my mum's plate was far from cheap but has doubled in value and the few years she has had it.
the evo plate looks good imo
* can as some are just pure crap and don't mean anthing

Agree, but nobody really buys them for an investment deep down, old man paid 2k for his and was offered 10k for it last year. Can imagine your mums (diane plate?) is worth a small fortune now.
Cousin bought W111TTY for £2000 probably worth more now. I'd love that one.

Yea, D14NE D plate, does your old man's plate work for you or would you sell it if it was left to you?
I have no need for mum's plate, so if i was left it i'd put it up for sale, i'd keep my old man's as its cool and i dont plan on changing my last name (H15 Day)
