New wheels look nice
Personally I'd want lower than 50/30 though I think 100mm down on the rear and 80/90 up front and it would sit perfect.

No Jason Jambo is old now, not 18. His fillings would all fall out if he went down that much!

Yes and no I shan't be lowering it 100mm because it would look shit and drive shit.

Replacement brake pipes done, and rear discs pads and calipers fitted.
Now has 12 Months MOT and drives lovely.
Bought an Intercooler also, as it came up at a good price and they are rare as hens teeth.
Much to do still:
Timing Belt
Water Pump
Thermostat
Turbo
Springs
ECU
Pre Cat Pipe
Spoiler
GSi Front
Headlights

If you want gen prices, give me a shout. Will offer them at cost + 10% but would need collecting from west mids unless you arranged postage.

Found this pic, essentially exactly what I am planning. Looks ok!
GSI bumper wont be for ages as they are so expensive and rare second hand.

Still think the front wheel sticks out further than the rear and looks odd. GSi bumper makes a massive change!

Its the offset Mike, ET39 not 45 which is standard. Not perfect but does give it a slightly more aggresive look.
GSi bumper is a massive want, but ive already spent FAR too much on this and the bumper doesn't improve it any other way than visually so cant really justify at the mo.
Will do eventually though

Was bored, so thought I would fit the new grille. I decided the badge I bought was useless as it has no adhesive on it so id need to buy some stuff to stick it down with and due to contours, I will need to clamp it. Far too much hassle. Will buy one from Vx. Bet that will be cheap, or I might buy a different grille. Anyway.
Here is the current V-grill which is in a pretty poor mouldy state. It was cleaned but needs to come off to be cleaned properly which was the other half of my motivation.
So took that off, don't think its ever been clean here:
So got the APC out and cleaned it up.
So I whacked in the grille minus Vx badge. Turns out one of the mounting holes was missing, I didn't realise until I fitted. It sits flush but annoyed as I asked the seller if it was intact and they said yes. Had issues with everything I have got second hand for this, seems all Vx owners are out to scam. (Except Tom actually, what he said I got)
Apologies for photo's, taken on a potato.

Lol Gav.
Yes DJ, LEH turbo, decat pre cat pipe, New LEH boost pipe, lower Vxr rad mounts.
Will be getting an ECU this week too. Not sure if I should go Phase 1 or 2 though. Same cost, but two specifies you need a turbo back exhaust which I can't afford and don't particularly want. But want the power
Not sure if it might be pointless, in which case I'll stick with PH1.
