Yes, not that fussed TBH. He will do well for you but we need proven scorers and Keane knows full well that Connor Wickham is going to be a much better player than Rhodes in the long run.

Most of them fans are stuck in the past, our academy and reserves are struggling to get a decent standard of football due to Premiership having their own reserve league so our academy players can only go so far against like Liston and Chelmsford
Keane has said he wants to make the squad smaller as a smaller squad means a happier one and if they got a bid for a player they deem acceptable and the player wants to leave so be it. He wants players commited to the cause i.e. Counago who has turned down Swansea to fight for his place.

Barnsley have put a bid in for Adam Hammill. I hope they get him, its the kind of signing they need rather than some random unknown plucked from the 3rd division of the Cypriot league etc.

He is a strange one for us. He is head and shoulders above the reserves when Ive seen him play, and is raved about on our forums, but he isnt yet ready to step up to the firsts.
Personally Id rather see him go on loan for another season than to sell him.

I would be surprised if he did end up at Barnsley permanent, thought someone better would have come in for him to be honest. Be interesting to see how much they have put in for him.
