Ive still not started my second round properly, have stuck to a (lower carb as not working out) diet but the last 2 times Ive tried to start Ive tweaked my neck again, then yesterday I had a tooth pulled so couldnt do it - hopefully get it started tonight finally.

I'm enjoying my time off from it all, actually getting some work done in the evenings now! feel really lazy not doing stuff each day though.
- Gonna probably start doing something again end of feb (may not be p90x though) ... probably HIIT cardio training with a good diet. Want to try to just lose pure body fat, then i'll maybe do something like p90x again or a weight routine after.

A little update from me. I'll be at day 30 a week today. Put on 4lbs so far which is a major achievement for me

You enjoy it Tom?
Pop thats good you've put on weight, you noticed any difference in size?
John, you're always going to be too sore, you just have to push through it or you'll never get it done.

I'm a little bit more built than I was, not hard I know. The six pack is coming along as there is no fat to hide it
I'm now doing a lot more push ups/pull ups and heavier weights since when I started. All in all it's been a positive thing for me so far.
I'm expecting no miracles but I am pleased with my progress.

In a word, no. Not really the sort of thing for me as i feel thats more a fat burning session and tbh i have none to burn. But it will get me fitter but i'd rather just run.

As Dizzy will tell you, weights will burn more fat than cardio will - it all depends on your diet and feeding your body the required nutrients to build you up rather than burn the fat.

So hows everyone cracking on?
Im still ploding along on the weights/cardio.
Doing a new programme now, plenty more cardio and a better training programme on the weights.
Started running on the beach now, 3 times a week for 30mins roughly. Slowly getting better (same route took me 55mins first time lol)

I need to get back in shape, only just got back training at football, and all my muscle's have lost the definition, although in winter I'm not particularly fussed but I weighed 12stone 7lb last May and I was ripped, but now I'm 12stone 2lbs and look a bit less toned.
Don't think I'm going to bother with P90x though as I don't feel it suits me and my way of training.

Done the first 90 days with 2st lost and IMO a good body change.
Have tried to start the second round (Im dying to) with a higher carb intake and a much stricter diet plan for the last 2 or 3 weeks now. Have been fucked over by being ill, doing my neck somehow (not working out, I think sleeping funny) and most recently having a tooth out (and have got another 2 molars our next week) - so its not going good.
Im really hoping to crack on with the second round asap, Im really missing the workouts and have gone out numerous times half hearted trying to start them but just dont have the energy.

Yeah, you dont now, but wait until you finish 30 days and move on to the second phase, then you'll feel sore all over again

Its only the same as the first, a week or two of pain then you're not so bad.

Will be starting soon, been reading through the nutrition guide which doesnt seem as confusing as i thought. Just need to get everything ordered and get started!
One problem i see with this = the food. Ill do it properly, i just hate vegetables, i hate cheese, salad dressing etc etc etc so it will be extra tough being stuck with the same on boring stuff every day

I thought that, but once you get the hang of what you need to eat its soon easy to mix it up and cook different things.

I borrowed my brothers disk yesterday and had a llok at this......gosh! Some of it doesnt look too bad (from sitting on the sofa watching it) but going to give it a go in a few weeks (as i need to get a couple of bits together)!
I was looking at the chin up bars, and came across this one...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0014BOT1K?tag=pullupbar-21&camp=2202&creative=7750&linkCode=op1&creativeASIN=B0014BOT1K&adid=0S77AKG6HCTRGV212QCW&
It looks similar to the P90X one, and is a fair bit cheaper too!
Is it worth doing a week or two gentle jogging/exercise first before jumping straight into P90, or just plough straight into it?

If you're not starting to do it for a few weeks then may help you a bit getting in to a routine of doing some exercise.
Oh, and they may look easy when watching the dvds - I thought the same, but they are killers
