William Hill is wank thinking about it; I was in the top 10 in a poker tournament out of around 1400, their servers crashed. So everybody playing on b365 / BF servers could carry on playing...! It came back on at like 7am, and I still came 80th~ish. WH gave me a refund for the stake of the tourney

Not playing tonight, I don't like doing them over 2/3 days
And i'm not sure that Suarez will be registered, so you'll probably be stuck with Ngog up front by himself

Ladies, talk to me about 'laying' a bet, not a lady.
I just signed into my Betfair account and theres a tenner in there so I fancy just giving it a punt.
Ill use the united villa game as an example.......
If I lay the draw does that mean I am betting against a draw? so if either team wins, I win the bet. If the game is a draw, I lose?
secondly, I stake £2, it says I am liable for £9.40. So if the game is a draw, I will have 60p left in my account?
The payout is £11 so if their is a winner in the match, I will win £11 and therefore have a balance of £18?
Odds seem better for laying but I guess thats because you could potentially also lose more?
I hope that makes sense!

yeah, that's all about right.
You get to choose the odds for laying, as you're acting as the bookmaker, so can offer whatever you want really.
Not sure you'll be making £11 profit though, thought it you were laying £2, you make £2 profit if someone picks your odds

Probably didnt word that bit right.
Using the previous Example.
Lay the draw, backers odds are 5.7. Backers stake is £2. Liability is £9.40. Payout is £11.40.
What does that all mean in Jens Lehmann terms?

Hmmm, looks like you might be right.
Thinking about it, that would make sense, you're risking £9.40, so if you win you should make £9.40 profit. If there is a draw, obviously you'll have to pay out £9.40, so yeah would only be left with 60p
Haven't got into laying personally, as I don't completely understand it

I've done a 'Both teams to score' bet tonight-
These are the Half-Times-
Sunderland 2-2 Chelsea
Derby 1-1 Ipswich
Hull 2-1 Leeds
Charlton 0-0 Colchester
Peterborough 2-3 Sheff W
£5 returns £70.
I guarentee my team Col U cost me on this, we'll lose 1-0 or draw 0-0 knowing my luck. Selfishlly, and needing the money i'd probably cheer if Charlton equalised in the 90th min to win me the money

BBC Sport's Paul Fletcher at The Valley: "High face at The Valley. Steven Gillespie puts the ball in the net. The referee blows, no goal. Colchester protest - after all, there was no offside flag. Goal given. Charlton protest, especially to the fourth official. The referee talks to the fourth official. Goal ruled out. Colchester's turn to go crazy. Drop-ball given. The referee's name? Darren Sheldrake."
So basically, ColU went 1-0 up but it got chalked off.
Now we're 1-0 down, so it should be 1-1.
So, some cunting 4th official looks to have cost me £70.
Cunts

I bad united, Chelsea and arsenal to win, westbrom/Wigan draw! Also arsenal 2-1 and first goal to be scores 21-30 min! Didn't put much on any of those bets, £2 in total but paid out £18 so boosted my skybet account up!
