yes. suarez is still tenuous (depsite any news reports and anythign said by anyone, if we pony up £50m he will be ours) but we as much need a big midfielder.
im not 100% certain on the gustavo stuff now there are quotes about him revealing his future tomorrow (although could just be him saying yes im leaving bayern)
im clinging to the long held belief that he (AW) thinks nothing will move until the final few days when everyone starts panicking and then he'll do his business.
if he doesnt, im not convinced he will last the season tbh. if we dont buy big, it will be criminal on his and gazidis' part and both probably will have to go as a result, the fans booed the team off at half time ina fucking pre season friendly FFS
we are weaker by virtue of the fact we are smaller, spurs are quite well improved (assumign they keep hold of bale) and even liverpool have added a little bit (again, assuming they keep hold of suarez) so we will not finish 4th if the squads all stay exactkly as they are today.
big few eeks coming up for arsenal, utd, liverpool, spuirs and everton - chelsea and city sit relatiuvely pretty, though suspect Jose would want to get in another striker

I am quite happy, wish we had got Isco but you cannot have everything. If we get Pepe or another central defender of good quality and I will be pleased with our dealings.
Oh shifting out Tevez and Balotelli has been a good move as well.

think you guys have done well. shift on rodwell, barry and sinclair and bring in another decent mid adn a good defender and you could walk the league. think chelsea might do it too but not sure if its too soon

Quite handy that considering most LFC fans want him to fuck off
Also where did you read this? Was it another Uruguayan journo?

the obvious problem with the original quote was saying he wanted to stay becuas eof the fans... despite the fact that most have reacted that way tooward him (not unsurprisingly!)

Almost
I don't think anyone will pay the fee the Ashley has slapped on him which is thought to be around £25m. He didn't have a great 2nd season but that could be down to the depression he suffered and the injuries he had. I still think he's class and if he has good season he will be off next summer.

Huddlestone, Livermore & Parker following Caulker, Gallas & Dempsey out of the Spurs exit door.
Complete overhaul with the squad now having a much more 'foreign' feel with most of the English/English Speaking players moved on.

Daily Fail say you're in talks with Roma for Lamela, presumably if Bale leaves

Modertaely impressed with Spurs' work this SUmmer tbh, need another CB and LB and rid of Adebayor but you've done pretty well otherwise, not tier 1 signings (as it were) but not bad nonetheless, as things stand today youll finish above us
