You've got a boardman tho haven't you ? Only reason for getting rid of mine was all the components were crap. Thought boardmans were specced pretty well ?

Yeah got a boardman, really like it and its good fun and spec very good for the price.
Nick, was going to get a canyon but there was a 10 week lead time on the one I wanted.
Went to a LBS in Reading and looked at Merida which tickles my fancy so hopefully going to go back there at the weekend to order.

well me and jimbothebarbarian went and tackled mabie forest near dumfries. decent day out, i fell off twice somehow. jim managed the mini slab drop perfectly as well.
super tacky's make it a bit harder work, got to say the maxxis crossmark on the rear has excellent grip for climbing with. seems a good tyre combination for me with the high roller on front.
whinlatter to do tomorrow, then landegla on sunday. decent few days riding i hope.

That was an ace day out, the fine line between shit scared and having fun. Just seemed to be miles and miles of cool shit to do and ride. Loved it.
Can't fucking walk now though, damn my old bones..
