That Edu (if its the person im thinking of) is very skillfull player in the MLS. Watched it a few times last season and he was always on the "tricks" section atleast once
(please note it may or may not be the same edu )

If so then he needs his head checking!!
I would
I know what your saying though, guess its something the fans want to hear as well so will be a bit of that of an, get the fans onside like.
Also taking into account the oppertunities he would get at Blackburn compared to Huddersfield. Chances are he'll figure more at Hudders than Blackburn, so that will have been a major factor in his decision.

Hardly mad for an Argentine International.

Looks like Pennant and Voronin (Blackburn and Hamburg) will be on their way out this week to fund the Barry deal.
Also some interesting news coming out about further investment or a full takeover too.

I agree with Cosmoan
Players only tend to do it at the twilight of their carreer, can't see someone of his age turning down a PL club - unless of course he's a fucking idiot!

Javier Saviola to Newcastle story seems to gathering pace with both the local and national press. Apprently a season long loan with a view to a £10M permanent deal next summer

Flopping at Newcastle in particular or in the Prem in general? I must admit from what I have seen of him he looks incredibly quick and skillful but very lightweight

Newc particularly but he is a very lazy person it seems, he is very skilful no doubt tho but not sure hiow he will cope with heavyweight defenders

Not sure he's really what we need at the minute. If we're going to sign a striker I feel we need someone capable of holding the ball up in attack. Personally at the figures quoted I'd like to see us go back in for Bafetimbi Gomis of St Etienne or perhaps Eren Derdiyok as a cheaper albeit riskier alternative

Just been on SSN:
Anton Ferdinand might be off to Sunderland.
Portsmouth want Wright-Philips but they'd have to buy him as Ben Sahar already there on loan.
