You aiming to bulk? If you can do 8 then up it.
If you want what I was doing for specific ones then just name them!

To be honest I'm surprised at some of the gains some people are getting for stomach. But In my none gym PT opinion I reckon people would see better bicep and chest gains by having a wider range of weights available to them. I say this as I doubt many on here have access to 40kg dumb bells at home!

I find that incline dumb bell flys on my bench work wonders for chest and P90x doesn't include it does it? It should do tbh.

I'll be the first to admit that I feel there are limitations with the p90x exercises compared to what you could do at a gym. Then again it is done at home with a far smaller range of equipment.
I'm nowhere near the limits at the moment.

If it's easy to get the equipment for the regime, and the stuff is fairly cheap, then more dvd's will be go off the shelf, marketing works in funny ways.

The way I look at it is that it's helped show me that I have the motivation to keep this going beyond 90 days. The gym is going to cost me money each month and since buying a house I don't have a huge amount spare so it was important to me.
I'm well up for finishing this and seeing what I can achieve in the gym.

Exactly, I'm lucky I have the room for a gymnasium at home, can jump straight in the bath after.

tbh, it is funny that the vast majority of the ones questioning the p90 workouts are the ones who have yet to do them fully.

I have done other crash course regimes, some shorter some a month or so longer, some are good some aren't, the only way you'll know is if you do them.

Exactly.
Dont get me wrong, there are problems with it, and Im not saying its perfect - but at the same time the workouts are hard work, as hard as anything in the gym - as long as you put your all in to them. They look easier than they are, as everyone who has done them will confirm this!

Some of the workouts have made me feel ill, mainly plyometrics
You start of ok and finish off totally nackered by the end of the session.

I think the key to it is having someone (admittedly on a DVD) telling you exactly what to do and when. Essentially a personal trainer in a way?
In a gym, a lot of people lack the drive and understanding. I can see why p90x is popular, its all there for you

Exactly, I think that is one of the massive advantages of it - it was for me. Even though he isnt there looking over me, he kind of is, so I have always pushed and made sure to complete everything on it. I doubt that would happen in the gym.
I would like to see someone who is a big gym goer try some of what I would consider the harder workouts of P90X and get their opinion after just what they are like.

I was like that with some of them at first, but soon got a lot better.
I was doing close to 30 wide front by the end of the first round.
Oh, and wait until you start doing Corn Cob and Switch Grips

my latest gym routine incorperates wide grip chins, and i struggle like a bitch to do them.
Started 1st week on 3 sets of 2 now up to 3 sets of 5, but i just struggle my arse off with them.
I took updated pics yesterday, but tbh, they just dont do any justice what so ever. I can really really notice the change in my shape in the mirror, thats all that counts i guess lol

My last ones were like that between 60 and 90 days, I could notice a lot of difference personally but when I took the pics and compared them side to side it looks disappointing.

With this plan cosmosis, as long as is it, as long as you have 7 portions of protien thoughout the day (700cals) you have have whatever form of protien you want? As it doesnt really say much about protien shakes in the nutrition guide
