i think hes one of the best keepers in the world tbh but a lot of newc and city fans would say that his lack of command etc was always hidden by the fact that newcs defence were so bad and any mistakes he made could be blame don them when actually he was effectively at fault.

He's by no means a bad keeper, and as you say he hasn't been given the best defence. I just think the media give him too much praise.

Given is a top class keeper, it's just his height that's a problem
Rodwell won't come to us yet imo, maybe next summer but he's only just signed a new contract so i dont know
The only other thing i'll say is it's strange Cleverley has suddenly appeared to be going out on loan so possibly something is going on
