Luckily not my daily as I use the Mrs Ibiza.
I considered Cupra/Golf R/S3/S4/S5/M5 and at a stretch, without money for mods an M4 but decided on this clean example I found over 200 miles away.
One of the last N/A V8's before the new BiTurbo smaller V8's and well out of my price range.
I feel sorry for the 1st owner who shelled out over 60 odd K for this car new. Took quite a hit in 18 months

I had the rear quarter windows cut in and fitted on the camper, we were starting to feel a bit sorry for our boy stuck in the back with no window

Those AMG mercs look so much better than BMW equivalents.
I agree my mate has a white one and it looks immense against an f10 m5
M-series V's AMG is like Louis Spence v's Jason Statham.

New M's are for computer nerds and blokes in suits.
AMG'S are for real men.

Bored with it tbh

I think i used too harsh a pad and compound on it, didn't think about the lacquer being softer than the rest of the car.

Yeah, its the DAS6, shakes to fuck and makes your hands go weird.
The polish seems to ball up and go hard and the pads get too hot to touch in the centre.

Sounds like you are doing something wrong there tbh. They aren't fun to use but it shouldn't vibrate much, sounds to me like your pad is far too dry.

yeah, i have it in a spray bottle.
I think my problem lies with the amount of polish i keep adding to pad and when to clean the pad.

That merc is awesome but the range of those things is seriously limited
Isn't it like 200miles to a tank at best

I'm not sure that range (or lack-of) is high on the list of reasons for someone buying one

Never said it was - and Alan said its not his daily
I just know someone who had one and he said the range was annoying as he was constantly filling it up
