I'v a feeling that Given staying at City won't neccessarily scupper the Schwarzer deal. Theres other keepers for Fulham, and Schwarzer has publically said he wants out.
Arsenal have upped bid to £4m today. Good money imo.
Tbh getting a decent keeper in will be the diff between winning a trophy and not doing.

Differance being that the players Celtic have signed were plying their trade in Leagues 1 & 2 before Celtic came knocking!

agreed, chelski have said no more signings so fulham can go for begovic - him, stockdale and zuberbuhler are probs a better 3 than weve got tbh

Sorry but we can't all have the quality that Liverpool have. We just don't have the ambition or ability to attract quality like Paul Konchesky. I mean how can we compete when you have the chance to play in the Europa league with Liverpool???

He has a stinking attitude, likes a drink and generally thinks he's the boy about town.
His scoring record in the SPL is excellent though, 14 goals in 16 games at Falkirk including 2 hat tricks in a week and 23 goals last season including 2 against Celtic and I think 2 maybe 3 against Rangers including the goal of the season.
