I wouldnt worry about Eduardo, give him 2mins out on the pitch up there and you'll be watching him getting stretchered off.

We can deal with a left back and a winger/striker that has yet to fulfil his potential
The bantering has started (we could maybe sit our under 16 team on the bench and pre occupy Arsene)

Surely Barnsley. Why would he want to go to a small club like Leeds?

We'll not win at Parkhead IMO.
1-1 at Celtic, 3-1 at Emirates

Yes you are. Get used to it, your an average Division 2 side who is now just a feeder club for bigger teams.
This is proved by the fact you are at home to Exeter today in a league game. Exeter, who we was playing and beating 2 seasons back.

The breakdown of our transfer for Aquaman, makes it a good deal should he stay fit!
Contrary to all the rubbish printed by the British press regarding a 20 million pound deal for Alberto Aquilani, Roma have themselves revealed the true extent of the payment structure for the Italian (both to the stock exchange as well as their own official site).
The 20 million EURO transfer fee is broken up into the following:
- 4 cash instalments of
- - 5 million EURO upfront
- - 3 million EURO by 4th January 2010
- - 7 million EURO by June 30th 2010
- - 5 million EURO by June 30th 2011.
Further Add ons include:
- 300,000 EURO for every year Liverpool qualify for the Champions League from 2010/11 to 2014/15
- 250,000 EURO everytime the player reaches 35 appearancs, 70 appearances, 105 appeances and then 140 appearances.
- 1 million EURO the first time Liverpool either wins the Premier League or Champions League by 30 June 2014.
- 5% of any future transfer fee will be paid to Roma.

Whats the crack with exchange rates when doing deals like that? Do they use the rate on the day when the deal is done, or the rate when the next installment needs paying?

Rate will be at agreed at the time the contract was agreed I imagine.

Depends what is written into the contract.
They could either use the day its signed and that amount is then written in and the fees are set, or they could use it on the day the next fee is due (doubtful either club would want this as makes planning cashflow a nightmare). Alternatively they could agree their own exchange rate and just use that throughout the contract.

Hammill has signed for Barnsley! now all the Leeds fan's are saying "he can't be that great because only Barnsley were after him", "they have better players in that position anyway" "if he was good he'd be playing for Liverpool" etc etc. Must be hard being such a big club.
