You said...."Only asking as Im confused how you think Arsenal are better than any other team who havent won anything in recent seasons (us included)"

And I explained why I think that......nothing about trophies.

May of put that wrong, my point still stands - you're miles away from winning anything. A keeper was not the only problem last season, and the players you've added this summer hasnt changed that.

And you think Schwarzer is going to be the difference between a trophy and not winning a trophy? He's good but not that good imo

Only 4 hours for Keane to stay in England, 10 for him to come back home

Fair point that really, if they manage nothing before 6 o'clock see how much Celtic want him.

Personally I want C. Cole to stay at West Ham, but I do like Keane, we've already got another big black fella to go up front, would be nice to have some actual creativity as well

1.46pm: And here's Liam Pennington: "On transfer deadline day Emile Heskey has been spotted in Newcastle. To be fair though, he was probably aiming for Middlesborough"

Made me chuckle

1403: A few of you are claiming to have spotted Dutch forward Wesley Sneijder in Manchester, either at the airport or heading to Old Trafford. I heard he was just checking out that new red box-like stand at the cricket ground.

Let's say we've seen Messi in a Blackpool shirt having a donkey ride on the beach near Blackpool tower

Football Editor:
Carlton Cole has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks and Sky Sports sources understand West Ham are now considering a bid from Liverpool for the England striker.

Why?!

1419: Sky Sports report that Liverpool striker Ryan Babel is in a helicopter heading to Tottenham as we speak (or write, or tweet or whatever).

So sell Cole to Liverpool (i'd guess they wont accept less than £10m?), Babel goes to spurs, Keane goes to West Ham on loan, West ham make a decent profit, and get Keane, i'd be happy enough with that
