Could you not find a scrappy for the arch line?

I got two free for the E36 when I bought some bits off a chap in Nottingham, they where going in the bin anyway

So yeah, this happened... Impulse buy as it was fairly cheap. Will sell it on in winter for a nice profit.

Also picked up a tri-stitched Z4M wheel to replace my black stitched sport wheel.

Quite expensive and also very big mate. I like having the roof down on a sunny winters day also.

Caused a right row on the forum over it

http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=67457&p=998196#p998196

Basically. The guy advertised it and that terry lad wanted it. Somehow he got messed about and decided he didnt want it anymore. At that point, I messaged the seller about it and bought it.

Now they're all going mental. It's so funny. You'd think Z4 owners would be more mature.

What a bunch of tossers.

Good move - I have and would have done the same as you in that situation - you snooze, you lose!

I know it's still going on. Honestly can't believe the tin hat theories being chucked around.

The guy didn't even offer the seller what he wanted.

They'd get torn a new one if they came on here

Buying the hardtop has got to be worth it purely for the levels of hilarity it's caused on that forum Love how everyone jumped on the bandwagon that you're the antichrist

Forum mentality is strange, normally ones with loads of rules and older people are the worst.

imagine the uproar if i did! Think i'll chuck it on ebay come winter as i've seen them go for 900+ in grey, which is the most common colour that z4's come in.

Better still

"You cannot make a higher offer to gazump after a deal has been agreed

You should only make an offer for an item when you have the funds to pay for it. The seller may agree to wait for payment but this should be discussed in the thread with the seller and they are entitled to refuse.

If a vendor reduces the price for a potential purchaser, that price becomes the new asking price for all. However, the item is reserved for that potential purchaser for 1 hour to accept that offer before others can buy it at the new price. (This is known as 'the one hour rule'.)

The first unconditional offer of the asking price secures the sale

Once a deal has been agreed or an unconditional asking price offer made, you may not withdraw from it without a very good reason. You will need to PM a moderator with an explanation but the moderators still reserve the right to impose a short trading ban."

Fuck me that sk93 is a proper girl.

All that just because you bought something that someone else wanted?

He comments page after page, then says "I have far more important things to do"...

Everyone of his posts he talks about "manners". Manners for what? You saw an item for sale, messaged it as the guy didn't want it, drove up and bought it.

Not your fault the other guy who wants it has to run everything past the person who wears the pants in their relationship haha!

Looks spot on though mate, i'd leave it on!

cheers guys. Yeah it is a bit of a strange forum. Full of knowledge and good parts for sale, but a lot of immature adults who can't handle a bit of banter.

Will post some more pics tomorrow after a wash. Hardtop is immaculate. The guy got a new one from his house insurance after a neighbour drove into his garage and flattened his previous one

It makes a massive difference with regards to road noise which is nice. Also makes you feel a bit more secure in the car, somehoe.
