I'd take either... Alonso is the better player + Liverfool would miss him IMO BUT Barry is English and its always good to see an Englishman... I'll be happy if we sign one of them 
What shirt would they get though... we only have 13, 23, 29, 30 and 32 left before you hit the biggies

It depends what a manager wants when signing either of the two, Alonso is the better central midfielder but Barry can play in atleast 3 different positions, could help when you get injuries.

Well Silvestre covers LB so I think that ruels out needing extra cover there BUT its always good to have depth eh!

Id like to think so, Always like Sunderland. Keanes bought in some people that could be very hit and miss but i really hope cisse does well, and heally is a good player too, both players have a good chance to play there best football at a team like sunderland i feel
