Yeah the joins are a bit iffy at the minute and it does let it down I havent re tigersealed them down yet because the bumper needs to come off again to be resprayed as the paints cracked in a couple of places.

Are they genuine arches or those £30 ones you can get of Ebay? because I had the same problem with the Ebay ones, they aren't quite long enough

Genuine arches mate. Its where the bolts on the back of the arches have snapped off so they just need tigersealing back down again. Also partly due to the irmscher bumper being a crap fit lol

Update Some of you might remember around christmas time I accidently overfilled it with oil It knackered the valve stem oil seals and hasnt been right since tbh. With the winter on its a way I thought id make a start at getting it sorted

I need the car everyday for work and uni so getting seals changed on my current head wasnt really an option. So I bought another x16xe head from Kitson off here cheers again mate! It was certainly interesting trying to undo the headbolts with the engine on the floor and without a breaker bar We got there in the end though lol

Heres how it looked when I got it

Then I got in touch with Philip2 off here about rebuilding it. I'd heard nothing but positive feedback from others about his work so I new I wanted him to do it

Heres some pics Phil took while carry out the work -

less than a week later I had it back

Can't recommend him enough! Really helpful chap, kept me well informed and the work is top notch! Thanks again mate

So the next job is to source a decent head set, new cambelt etc ready for when I swap it over
