Its when you have a 2 channel amp, you use the positive from one channel and the negtive from the other. Usually doubles or trebles the power.

No the AMP will become 1 channel.
You could buy a 4 channel amp and bridge 2 of the channels to run a sub and use the other 2 to power components etc. This is called tri-mode.

could it be possible that a
4x75rms amp can become a
2x300rms when bridged???
this is what it states in the manual, but its quite a big jump.

yeh so
Ch1: +
Ch2: -
That goes to + into the sub and/
ch1: -
ch2: +
Goes into the - of the same sub right?
So if i done that to my sub and then done same with ch3 and 4 into toher .
Will it work ???
Cheers

lol...ur confusing!
read the manual of ur amp
when u bridge a channel as stated, u take the positive of one channel and the negative of the other, but it depends on the amp as it could be the negative of the left and positive of the right or vice versa.
if an amp is bridgeable it will show an indication near the terminals on the amp as which ones to use.
but do not do this if ur amp cannot be bridged.

the sub will only have two inputs
positive and negative (2)
ch3 +tive and ch4 -tive dont connect to anything.
u only have 2 wires.
if u still have any queries its best to consult ur manual. or download the manual.
