i have a 7 foot tank in my garage ,i used to keep red tailed black sharks and some other trops .
might set it up again during the winter

3ft wud not be good enough, a mate of mine had pirhanas they r not good to keep either. Get a few Angel fish or sumut.

get red tail black sharks they will outgrow tank quite quick but then just take to pet shop and they will take them, and you then get new ones .they look quite agressive ,but there not really

they dont look v nice tho. Angel fish will breed and look nice. stick them with some tetras.

angels wil eat neons tetras if the get the chance,there quick little buggers

now they are fun! dont require much looking after at all, can go for ages without eating, and they eat all sorts. crickets, locusts, grass hoppers, i even fed mine a butter fly the other day lol!

I used to have 2 of these myself. Very easy to keep, I fed mine on prawn, raw fish, chunks of meat and stick food, they also liked the odd earthworm
They do grow quite quickly, and are usually about the size of a 50p when you first get them. As said will need a big tank with lots of plants for them to hide in...
In the end I sold them to a petshop for about £10 each as they were a bit too big.
