got 17" inch alloys and are rubbing on my body over bumps,,

i have got a lowering kit, which are springs and shocks 40mm, will this be ok? will they be stiff and not rub???? HELP!!!!

What offset are the wheels mate? have u de-bolted the rear arches?
The springs and shocks will stiffen it up but if u have wrong offset they will still rub.

shit, i dunno, i have 205/r17 wheels,

what will de bolting do?

the bolts usually catch the wheels so removing them solves this. Just bond them back on with something.
Offset needs to be about 45-49.
