is there anyway to be cum a mecanic with out doin an apretaship (sp) or college? so like do trainin at werk

Pay is Toss while you are on it, but then you will be qualified earn more than a un-qualified grease monkey...

yeah..
bad thing is if your training with your company then the minimun wage dont exist, they can pay you what they like cos essienatly they're paying for ur course and also loosing out a days work while ur there, so the governement recognises this.

Its definatly worth it tho mate.
ive gone from a part time job to a full time job and the pay isnt much different, im just getting a carreer out of it with great qualifications.

When your doing an apprentaship the govt. pays part of your wages anyway, not just your employers! So they dont have an excuse for paying you shite, its just so they can have a scivy around to so the rubbish jobs

yesh i did.... and i had spellin and other puntuation (sp) problems... they though i was dislexic (sp) but i spell fenticaly (sp)

Talkin of A P P R E N T I C E S H I P' S i am a carpenter apprentice and i'm on £150 a week, most ppl r on £70 week different companys pay different.

as an apprentice i ended up on a higher hourly rate then the qualified electricians, they wasnt too happy but i did start out on 35quid a week with a rise to 70 then evry 6months till i got to 234.89 a week as an apprentice! its very worthwhile mate
