ALL sony in car stuff IMHO is shit for quality , i havent or me m8s had probs with reliability.

Well of changed i am goin Rockford and Audiobahn.
My m8 has only vipe and other only Kenwood stuff.

headunits are far by the worse go for Alpine or Kenwood for HU's.

Have you checked that, properly, with the manufacturers themselves. Cos quite often Kenwood work aswell, JVC have just started doing this kinda thing and Alpine do it, but quite rare!

sony are jiz, the amp fried in mine and started smoking, plus it sounded crap also, i would never buy sony car stuff again, opnly had bad experiences with all of it.
