The suspension and chassis will always be the same though on all cars.

Different models are lower (i.e GSi) btu this is the spring height, not the damper.

Sorry chuck, hte to piss on your chips, but it really doesn't play a big part in my life at all. Speak to old friends, look at new pics of corsas, arrange meets etc.

Just cos i dont post every aspet of my life on this site, doesn't mean i dont do a lot of other stuff

I thank you for this short conversation, your arrogence has made me smile.

PS, they dont have a NEW 1.6, only old ones, so its not that new at all is it

if we talk figures here on 17 inch rims then a 7inch wide rim over a 7.5 inch rim gives you an extra 6.35mm either side of the rim

so realistically speakin you could get away with an et39 7inch rim

hmmm the mind boggles!

Theorectically yes.

In reality, no chance My 15"s were et38 and used to rub like feck. part of the reason the rear seats came out nd i cambered the rear wheels int eh first palce

Still, stuck to the road like fucking glue though

the theory would need to be based on the extra 1/2inch being split either side equally, i dont think that happens
