i bought an in car tv off ebay. works perfect. v happy wit it. just watch out for customs charges. i think i was £36 for that charge. still worked out alot cheaper than buyin a screen from a shop or site.

ebay is dodgy depending on who you are dealing with, always go with people with lots of good comments and read them comments to see if they have had any massive problems with customers! be safe.

Though saying that I remember reading that police etc can contact ebay about any user and get full details on the users account (name, addr, history) within days, so maybe some of them will start to disapear..

TBH most of it's just down to common sense really - if you're buying, e-mail the seller beforehand with any questions and check their feedback

If you're selling, read up on all the info on there, it's pretty straightforward.

I've bought plenty of things from e-bay and it's always been fine for me

placed a bid for a 6" screen, going to build a surround taking out the 2 centre air vents into the mfd sort of m2 rvh syle but a bit different or have a pod built to go between the gear knob and the ash tray bit.

I don't thnink eBay is all that dodgy if you make sure you don't buy off people with hardly any feedback. You can get some very honest people on there and get some bargains.

Please feel free to buy stuff off me: http://cgi6.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&include=0&userid=craig6682&sort=2&rows=25&since=-1&rd=1
