I've got a set of 17s 45 offset and want to lower it by 40mm. what do i have to do with the front and rear arches? as i;m having a kit fitted to it anyways. how much cutting is needed? i know the bolts need removing. but do i need to cut parts of the metal arch out or just the plastic arch?

Also.. with the engine. everytime i put the clutch down. an extremely loud wining noise appears. Someone told me i need a new clutch as the bearings are gone. is this true?

all u have to do is, deal with the bolts inside the arches, and nothing else. as long as ure wheels are the correct offset, which they r, it'll be fine.

if ure clutch bearing is gone, it woyuldnt make a sound if u dipped ure clutch because it would disengage the bearing. its probly ure wheel bearing that needs changing. i had the same symptons when my wheels bearing needed changing.
