If I were you I'd try to get a 318iS, they are much better. A 93' 318 has no power at all.

The its not standard or the RR is a load of crap as they usually are.
A standard 318 run 115BHP a 318iS runs 140bhp.

but RR figures with BMW's mean bugger all, mine is over 200bhp and yet I get my arse kicked a a 20XE calibra, BMW are a lot heavier car, and this makes the difference, also make sure you get a manual box, the auto on some can make the 0-60 up to 2 seconds slower, mine is a bit slow up to about 40 but after that it pulls like a train, mine is a 3l so need to tow a petrol tanker around with me LOL, think I spend far too much time in sports mode!!!

dont forget to budget for back tyres as well, there seems to be a problem with BMW's, surprised they didnt recall them all, but the rear tyres wear out way too fast!!! LOL

nah just like everything else in life get what you pay for, last time I bought tyres they were 235/45/17 think they were £75 each fitted, not bad really as they are big tyres, just not looking forward to next time as I am getting 19's next, thats gonna hurt the wallet!!!
BMW are a very good car, drive them hard and they can be expensive to run, if you want something to thrash around town on of a night, then perhaps stick with a corsa or an escort, if you want comfort and a very nice drive, with the ability to go fast if needed then the BMW is the car for you.
My 5 series is an M-tech, not an M5, but has all the other goodies etc, and is a joy to drive, only thing I would do different when I get another BMW is to get a manual, but my current car was given to me so cant complain!!

The are 3 kinds of service, Oil service, Inspection 1 and Inspection 2.
An inspection 2 will cost you about £400 without additional parts from BMW. From a specialist mine was £180. The car will tell you when it needs servicing and what service.
