hello people of the board...thru many weeks of browsin this forum I have seen JL ave been recommended alot and I am gettin a new job shortly...so ill be changin my subs.
atm i have 2 mtx 12"S and im lookin for two jl 12's to replace them.
I'm willin to spend 200 on each sub..if u can get one in that price range so which r the best for that price as all their subs seem to look pretty identical (black with the logo, apart from the w' range)

W6 if you can find them for that money, otherwise W3. If not, then I used to have two Infinty Perfect 12's. You can pick up a couple of them for under £400 for the pair. Id recommend an amp which will give each sub about 500RMS and put them in a ported box. They'll sound great. I'll find a pic of my old subs and box.

hey that looks pretty nice.
how r the infinitys for deep bass? although i do like to listen to hard house alot but also chuck on a bass cd to get the lookers..lol
the mtx r servin me well but its not enuff, the amp isnt a monoblock, although it does have a monoblock switch for when u bridge it...but i still neeeeeed MOREEEE!!

well, i had 144.8 dB from them, so are pretty loud.

thats awsome, im not afta anything too loud atm...i guess sometimes everyone says that n then they get bored n want sumthin louder each time.
well my priority is the jls but ill try n get this job 1st n see where i go from there.

W6's for £200, not likely!!! W3's for £150 is very possible i know for a fact which leaves £100 spare, possibly for a cap???

nothing beats jl imo.
get one w6. you will not be dissapointed.
my m8s got two only one in at moment and well put it this way
last month he had a medical at his work. he was told he had the hearing of a 60 year old woman
so he got another w6 lol
