r u still allowed 2 use halon xtinguishers plumbed in under the bonnet, or have they kicked that due to certain carcinogenic "problems" with the stuff?

Manufacture of Halons has ceased and they are now classed as illegal.

The MSA state that all stage cars MUST have a fully working "plumbed in" extinguisher and also a hand held one located infront of the codrivers seat. This is all checked at scrutineering.

Just make sure your bleed valve doesn't fall off or you end up snapping your key in the ignition or ... etc - for your events
