can anyone with a 1.2 8v tell me what speed is the indicated speed on the speedo at 3000 rpm in 5th gear. Cheers its much appreciated

can anyone help just want to know if my rev counter is working correctly cos i have swapped from a non rev counter dash to a rev counter dash

Should be the same as on the original dial set..

I never noticed any difference with mine like mate

If there is, itll be marginal.

i didnt have a rev counter on my old set of dials so i want know what speed i should be doin at 3000 rpm. Cheers

i just did the swap too and i was going at what the speedo said was 50 and it felt a bit slower, like 40,
this may be because im not fully used to driving this car, ive been driving a bigger car with softer suspension for a time and 40 felt plenty fast coming down the windy country road where i live. But in my corsa it felt like i could go a lot faster down it even when reading at 50, lovely car my little corsa

ill have a check next time about the 3000rpm in 5th when next i go out in it mate, probably be riday night as im away to leeds tomorrow all day on the train
