i am having some trouble gettin my hands on some lowering springs and shocks for my 1.0. gmax dont make em, and apparently coz of the baby engine the front wont drop as much as it shud. what have u other 1.0 owners done?

Wot about trying the eibach prokit they're supposed to work with the original
shocks so all you need are springs dunno how good it is but got a good
reputation

i got a P.I 40mm spring set they look ok, but ud be better gettin 60 at the front 40 rear !

i had a gmax kit when i had my 1.0 and it was on its arse but i used nova springs

thats bollox, who told you that.
ive got a 1litre and its lowered 60mm on the gmax kit, it cost me £195.

the guy at gmax told me, he sed the reason the full kit is not listed for the 1.0 is that it would not drop as much as it sed due to the light engine, so id be best with a 60/40 kit

yea wise move..... mine (before i sold it) was sitting on uprated double gas shocks on 45mil all round pi springs.
