some1 had direction tread pattern on the tyres, but fitted the tyres on wrong way round?....ie the directional pattern facing the wrong way?

It won't make much difference in the dry. They won't work in the wet but so be careful.

my friend did that on his car. the guy at the garage said that it would wear-out his tyres quicker.

why dont u just swap the wheels around so all tread patterns are facing the right way?
it increases ur chances of aquaplaning when driving over standing water.

Assuming that there were two left hand tyres and two right hand tyres fitted on the wheels no problem. If they are all one handed, only one side would be correct.
