Volvo's SAAB's etc have their lights on as it's semi dark there (scandinavia) for 1/2 the year so it just makes it easier for the driver

Motorbikes have them on oll the time so they are more visible (legal thing)

Millitary Vehicles are camoflaged so the lights are on to make them stand out
