i currently have the bus size type steering wheel in my ls (non airbag) is it possible to do a straight swap with a sport steering wheel. Not bothered about the airbag working or anything like that
Any help or opinions greatly appreciated

Why not get a GSi one? I hated my Sport one, it was huge lol

Sorry I don't know. Go for one off a GSi if you can get hold of one, once you disconnect airbagged wheels you're meant to store them safely, not really put em in a car where they werent intended. Dont want it going off inadvertantly

I have never seen a sport steering wheel but my GSI one is leather dont know if its the same in the sport

No, it's part of the wheel, the whole front of the wheel (inc horn buttons, Vaux badge etc) is part of the airbag unit!

peace of p*ss mate, just centre ure wheels, take the centre cap off ure steering wheel & undo the nut.
Standard ones can be a basty to get off so u may need a mallet and give it a few taps from the back to loosen it.
Then place ure new shiny wheel in place, do up the nut again
