Nice, I've got 50mm GMC springs but looks a bit lower than yours, probably cos I'm on 15's.
Gonna go for magnex system I think + de-cat.

Is that a BMC induction kit?? Was looking at a simoto enclosed kit, looks the same as the pugsport and Ecosse one but only around £80.

I've got the simota kit, nice sound, slightly improved performance I'd say! It's a fiddle to fit though

Pay the extra for a later reg with less miles and leather rich you know it make sense

I think the CAT in the manifold came in late 2000 so I'd stick with a pre 2000 one but newer than 98, that way you get leather, no side strips, stronger head gasket and no CAT in the manifold.
It's what I did anyway.

UPDATE: got another 50 quid off the price going through full MoT before I pick it up on saturday ... drove it this morning... goes very very quick... 70 in a 40... the salesman didnt come with me on the test drive... said he did'nt trust me with a Manchester United top on

I did'nt want leather... and like the bronze colour especially in summer after seeing steve's before. Engine is probably one of the quicker ones as it seems quick quicker than the standard new one I drove last february. Sidestrips not really a factor since im not a cosmetic person. I got a GTi badge on the rear though
